Autumn Leaves

Oh. My. Word.

This took me longer than almost anything I've done in over a year. I don't know WHAT possessed me to draw each individual leaf and then color them all painstakingly, but at least it's done now.

Nimdre, taking a nap in fall leaves, being rather *ahem* one with nature. Done for the sheer (at the time) joy of the idea of black and white against a flurry of color. (I know this probably goes against half a dozen points of drow behavior, but frankly that wasn't the idea to start with... it's just pretty, darnit!)

11x14 Bristol, done with microns, markers (copic, sharpie, and prismacolor), and prismacolor pencils. Time: about a week. XP
